If you are trying to get pregnant and yet cannot conceive, doctors suggest separate methods to remedy this. Positive factors have been identified to lower the chances of conceiving. Some of these factors are alcohol consumption, smoking, lack of exercise, improper diet, and many more. Because of the separate scientific studies that established the effects of diet on fertility, many doctors suggest that permissible diet is a key to increase fertility.
Have you heard of lemon water? It has been said that this type of water is good for fertility. In fact, it has many condition benefits. How does it help for most infertility couples?
For many years, lemon water for fertility has been gaining popularity among women who find it hard to conceive. Lemon water for fertility is from the traditional Chinese Medicine, which uses natural ingredients to treat and preclude diseases.
Lemon is a great fruit because it is loaded with vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, potassium, and antioxidants. First and foremost, drinking water already does wonders for fertility. Water thins out mucus and increases it as well. And cervical fluid is very foremost in conception. Without cervical fluid, the sperm won’t be able to reach the egg. Furthermore, if the cervical fluid is of good capability and quantity, it can help the sperm stay alive for some days while waiting ovulation.
And if you add lemon to your drinking water, you are even addition the likelihood of getting pregnant many times. The bodies are bombarded with harmful free radicals from pollution and food. And these free radicals can harm the sperm, egg, and reproductive organs. This is the point of antioxidants. Antioxidants in this beverage will help destroy these free radicals thereby production your bodies more ready for conception. This is why it is efficient for infertility treatment.
Another great benefit of lemon water for fertility is that it has no adverse effects since you are using an all-natural ingredient. You can continue drinking this even if you are already pregnant. You can also continue with your water regimen even if you are prescribed with fertility drugs or in conjunction with other fertility treatments.
Other condition benefits include: detoxification, hormonal balance, enhanced immunity, liver health, digestive health, and great skin. How do you make this type of water? You plainly have to add 1 to 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice to your warm drinking water.
Lemon water for fertility can be consumed any time. Although many people believe that it is best early in the morning. Instead of drinking coffee or hot chocolate, drinking this beverage is great for re-hydrating your bodies. Furthermore, it can help to stimulate bowel movement in the morning.
Stage 3 breast cancers occurs when the cancer cells in the breast have spread face the regions of the breast and have affected the surrounding lymph nodes of around muscles but have not expanded well enough to influence distant organs and systems of the body. Breast cancer survival rates for this stage in a five-year period ranges at 54 to 67 percent occasion of cure.
There are separate forms of stage 3 breast cancer according to Ms. Christy Russell who is a professor of rehabilitation at the Keck School of rehabilitation in the University of South Carolina and co-director of the Usc/Norris Breast centre. She is the spokeswoman of the American cancer community as well. according to her stage 3 breast cancers varies upon the whole of lymph nodes complicated or the malignant cancer cell invasion within the chest and skin of the patient.
All types of stage 3 cancer of the breast except for where the malignant tumor have affected the lymph node above the collarbone are considered operable. Breast cancer survival rates are greatly adjusted into the type of stage 3 cancer of the breast for there are types that are more aggressive than the others.
Stage Iii – A cancer of the breast is subdivided into two parts. The first type is where the tumor has grown more or less 5cm and the cancer cells have moved that it infected the lymph nodes in the armpit or the sternum. The Second type is when the tumor has grown within 5cm but has not infected any lymph nodes.
Stage Iii – B is an indication wherein the tumor regardless of the size, have invaded the chest muscles and have spread among the skin as well. Lymph nodes may also be affected by the cancer tumor. A rare type of aggressive cancer called inflammatory cancer of the breast is considered by many professionals to be a stage Iii b cancer of the breast because of the involvement of the skin infection of cancer cells. This type of cancer is considered to be aggressive in nature and breast cancer survival rates would drop immediately because of the aggressive type of malignancy.
Stage Iii – C cancer of the breast occurs when the malignant cancer cells have spread to the lymph nodes of the armpit and breast bond and have infected the lymph nodes in the neck or collarbone as well. This type is considered to be inoperable and has the most drastic survival rate among stage 3 cancer of the breast.
I have long believed that population can transform their health with the foods they eat. I encourage patients with a wide array of conditions to explore their diets in expanding to using traditional treatments and medicines. For some, adopting a wholesome diet full of produce, whole grains and lean protein can improve symptoms through weight loss. For population with unavoidable diseases, choosing foods with unique, wellness-promoting qualities can furnish a major boost to their health.
For those seeking to actively prevent cancer, the foods you eat can bring big health benefits. Countless studies have been done on the effects of separate diets or private foods on the many types of cancer that can strike. Although there is easily a lot of data out there, I have put together some facts about the most beneficial nutrients for fighting cancer, as well as a list of the top anti-cancer foods.
How Food Fights Cancer
The easiest way to adopt an anti-cancer diet is to eat mostly plant based foods-fill about two-thirds of your plate with them. If you’re picturing salads everyday for lunch and dinner, start broadening your horizons. Fruit and vegetables are crucial, but beans, whole grains and tofu are also plant-based. So you might enjoy a tofu and veggie stir-fry over brown rice; a bean and cheese burrito in a whole wheat tortilla; or a grilled vegetable sandwich with a few thin slices of chicken breast on whole grain bread.
Everyone needs protein, so don’t eliminate lean sources like chicken, fish and lowfat dairy. Seafood in singular is loaded with wholesome fats that protect your heart. Plainly try to eat red meat less often, or make it one flavorful component of a meal, rather than the main focus.
Researchers have also singled out unavoidable nutrients for their anti-cancer benefits. You most likely have been hearing about antioxidants for a long time, and with good reason. These plant chemicals-many separate antioxidants with separate properties exist-fight inflammation in the body by neutralizing free radicals. Free radicals are substances in the environment that can damage our cells and cause inflammation, a hallmark of many diseases from cancer to autoimmune disorders.
Folate, a type of B vitamin has prominent anti-cancer functions. population with low levels of folate seem to be more susceptible to mutation in Dna. In one study, men who consumed the recommended daily discount of folate cut the risk for pancreatic cancer in half. Vitamin D not only builds strong bones and teeth, but slows the growth of cancerous cells. The American connection for Cancer study reports that increased intake of vitamin D is associated with lowering breast cancer risk.
The 7 Best Cancer Fighting Foods
The foods on this list are loaded with anti-cancer benefits. Great yet, none of them are expensive, exotic or difficult to find. Load your shopping cart with them today, and you’ll be protecting yourself from cancer and boosting your normal health for years to come!
1) Tomatoes – Lycopene in tomatoes protects against cervical, ovarian and prostate cancers. Tomato products like sauce, paste and ketchup are even Great sources due to their concentrations.
2) Berries – The vivid colors of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries come from antioxidants called anthocyanins, which fight a variety of cancers. Icy berries are available year round-try them in smoothies or in cereal.
3) Tea – Both green and black tea include antioxidants called catechins, which curb cancer growth.
4) Spinach – One of the most nutritious leafy greens, the lutein and vitamin E in spinach fight liver, ovarian, colon, and prostate cancers.
5) Garlic – Italians and want-to-be Italians, rejoice! Garlic fights stomach, esophageal, and breast cancers. To get the most benefits, chop just before cooking.
6) Apples – This affordable, delicious, year-round fruit has plenty of antioxidants and vitamins, but it also boasts quercetin, a plant chemical, which may lower lung cancer risk and slow the growth of prostate cancer cells.
7) Pumpkin, butternut squash and sweet potatoes – As long as it’s orange, take your pick! These sweet, fiber-rich vegetables are perfect sources of beta carotene, which may protect the Dna in your cells.
Cancer men are incredibly interesting to many women for a range of reasons. Cancer men seem to have comprehension into what makes a woman fall in love. They are creative, passionate and loyal. When you meet a cancer man for the first time you may be at once smitten. They have been known to sweep a woman off her feet after only a few short dates. If you want to make a Cancer man fall in love with you, you need to be the one to make the first move.
Many Cancer men are shy initially. They have some trouble approaching women and when they do they are very fearful of being rejected. This is one of the reasons why a man born during this time of year may seem a bit standoffish at first. It’s not that he’s uninterested. He may just be wary of having his heart broken. If you want to make a cancer man fall in love you have to be willing to be the one asking him out. Keep the date fun and non-threatening. It will take a dinky time for him to open up to you.
Men born in the early summer unquestionably love feminine women. If you are normally seen wearing t-shirts and jeans, you may want to trade that in for a summery dress. Also, scent is incredibly prominent to a Cancer man. In fact, wearing a flowery scent can unquestionably draw his attention to you immediately. It’s all the time a good idea to try and look your best when you are trying to make a Cancer man fall in love with you. You want him to recognize that you value your appearance and that you make an attempt to all the time look well put together.
Family is incredibly prominent to men born under this astrological sign. If you two are talking about family, share details of yours, with him. Be ready to commit wholly to him when you are able to make a Cancer man fall in love. He’ll want you all to himself and jealousy isn’t an emotion that this type of man deals with well. Don’t go out of your way to try and persuade him to love you by making him jealous. It unquestionably won’t work and he’ll likely sever all sense with you. Trust and devotion is the key to a flourishing association with a man born under the sign of Cancer.
On May 22, 2007, five schoolgirls at Sacred Heart Girls College in suburban Melbourne, Australia, were taken to the hospital after receiving an injection of Gardasil, the most recent vaccine to be mandated for cervical cancer. Soon after the vaccination, twenty-six girls were seen at the campus curative clinic. Five were admitted to the hospital: Two were kept overnight for dizziness; one had temporary numbness and loss of speech. The condition of the remaining two was not known. (1)
In the U.S., symptoms similar to those experienced by the Australian girls have been reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting principles (Vaers). Since the approval of the vaccine in June, 2006, there have been at least 1,600 adverse events reported. Here are a few examples directly from the Vaers reporting pages:
“Immediately after injection patient complained of severe pain at site. Fell off table and fainted for almost 10 – 15 seconds. Hyperventilating. Complained of headache, blurry vision; vision test was normal. Vomiting x 1 in parking lot and speech was momentarily inarticulate. Sent to Er where her neurological exam was general except for word recall “coffee instead of coughing” and said “Sired instead of tired.”
“A female patient was vaccinated with a first dose of Hpv Vaccine. Subsequently as the patient was leaving the test room, the patient fainted. The patient recovered shortly after fainting.”
“A 14 year old female was vaccinated with Gardasil. It was reported that the patient was sitting on a bench. When the nurse left the room, the patient apparently fainted and ended up falling off bench. It was reported that it was unsure if the patient had broken her nose but there was blood. At the time of this report, the outcome of the events were unknown.”
Vaers is a passive guard principles and depends upon voluntary reporting by clinicians and parents of serious condition problems following vaccination. Although Vaers reports do not prove causation, they can provide a warning principles that a vaccine may be causing condition problems.
It has been estimated that fewer than 10 percent, even as low as 1 to 4 percent, of adverse events from a prescribe drug or a vaccine are ever reported.(2) If only 1 percent of all adverse events connected with Gardasil are being reported to Vaers, there could have been as many as 160,000 acute condition problems from the vaccine in less than one year. The long term neurological or immune principles complications are completely unknown. It is uncertain if any of these vaccinated children will go on to organize fertility problems, cancer or damage to their genes, all of which Merck admits in its product insert have not been studied.
John Iskander, from the center for Disease Control’s immunization protection office has said, “There is well no reason to think that there is anyone in this vaccine that’s going to make habitancy more likely to faint”. (3) Despite his assurances, there are ingredients in the vaccine that can cause recipients to come to be dizzy and faint.
Histidine, an amino acid, readily converts into an additional one amino acid, histamine, when it enters the body. When released, histamine causes redness, swelling, itching and allergic reactions leading to widening of capillaries, decreased blood pressure… habitancy can faint. The vaccine also contains Polysorbate 80, an agent used in creams, ointments, lotions, and multiple curative preparations together with vitamin oils, and anticancer agents. Polysorbate 80 can cause potentially fatal reactions in together with anaphylaxis, characterized by a sharp drop in blood pressure, hives, and breathing difficulties… habitancy can faint. (4)
Fainting spells after vaccination can have serious consequences. An record published in the Archives of Pediatric and youthful treatment (1997), reviewed the 697 reports of syncope (fainting) that occurred after vaccination and had been reported to Vaers between 1990 and 1995. More than 97 percent of the events have occurred within 30 minutes of a vaccine, establishing a causal relationship. Of these, six patients sustained a serious head injury, together with skull fracture, cerebral bleeding and cerebral contusion. Three of these patients required brain surgical operation and two were left with sizable residual neurological deficits at six months to two years after follow-up. (5) Dizziness and fainting after vaccination is not something to be taken lightly.
As for the children in Australia, the vaccination schedule is scheduled to continue in June. “The college is safe bet that this schedule of vaccination is safe to offer to students,” says Christopher Dalton, the school principal. “We will be working with the group of Human Services Victoria and the City of Monash Immunization Services in the planning vaccination program.”
The assumption is that illness and dizziness are “normal reactions” to a vaccine. The overriding theme for the Australians is that “We have a vaccine, and we will use it.” For exiguous girls in the U.S., watchful waiting is advised.

Warts are stubborn skin growth that could annoy you for years. It has the tendency to come back and they are also contagious. It can spread from one part of the body to other parts like the genitals and it can also spread from one man to another. This skin growth is caused by Human Papilloma Virus (Hpv) and the virus lies dormant in the body and just waiting for the right trigger to flare up. Millions of habitancy are affected by Hpv and colse to 50% sexually active habitancy are infected by the virus at some point in their lives. So it is foremost to know how to forestall genital warts outbreak.
Genital warts outbreak may appear as skin growth or bumps in clusters. They are sometimes flat and sometimes raised skin growth that appears colse to the vagina, on the penis and anus. They may go away after sometime but they have the tendency to comeback. If left untreated, you may suffer from frequent genital outbreak because the virus is still there waiting for the right trigger for an additional one outbreak.
It is recommended to seek curative advice once you suspected that you are infected by the virus for you to know how to deal with genital warts outbreak.
Here are some ways to forestall Hpv and genital warts outbreak:
Vaccine for Hpv that causes cervical cancer and genital warts outbreak for women is now available. This is recommended for girls from 11 years old or before they come to be sexually active. Those sexually active women can still benefit from this vaccine to forestall them from getting other types of Hpv.
Stay in monogamous relationship. Sexually active habitancy who have dissimilar partners are very at risk to get the virus. To forestall genital warts outbreak, be monogamous as much as possible. Staying with a meticulous partner who is not yet infected by the virus is safer.
Boost your immune system. habitancy with weak immune principles are more likely to catch the virus because they have weak anti-bodies to fight the virus. If you are wholesome and strong, occurrence of genital warts is less frequent or it may not occur again.
Practice safe sex. Use protection like condoms but you have to know that condoms provide miniature protection and the virus can be transmitted straight through intercourse or oral sex. As much as inherent do not engage in sexual palpate with a man with descriptive genital warts outbreak. If you are the one infected by warts, abstain from sexual palpate until the warts or infection is cured.
For years the lemon has sat awkwardly surrounded by other fruits. As children we knew the lemon tasted bitter, and because of this, we often found ourselves drawn to its peculiar mystique.
In recent years, the lemon has been used to control the spread of the Hiv virus, and has been demonstrated in investigate studies to kill the Hiv virus.
Dr Peter Piot of Unaids hailed the discovery that the juice of the lemon kills Hiv in the test tube, declaring: ” Unaids would like to give you (Professor Roger Short and your ‘LemonAids’ team) every encouragement to pursue this challenging new lead.”
Keeping the liver healthy is a indispensable step in the health and salvage of both cancer patients and those with Hiv / Aids.
According to Dr Leo Roy Md, Nd [Immune Perspectives], “No disease, especially degenerative diseases together with cancer and Aids, could survive longer than a few weeks in the presence of a healthy liver.”
A recent discovery by those working with Hiv / Aids has found that combining the straightforward lemon with extra virgin olive oil and blending these together (with the lemon rind and seeds) and a glass and half of spring water, can and does yield overwhelming results, when drunk on a daily basis.
The lemon and the extra virgin olive oil, when taken together, act as a potent liver and gallbladder flush, detoxifying the liver, lowering biliruben levels, removing heavy metals, addition the yield of bile from the liver, stimulating lymphatic flow, and restoring the pH of your saliva, which in turn helps you to discharge the nutrients from the food you eat.
The liver is truly the expert organ of the immune system, producing chemicals to combat viruses (including the Hiv virus) and bacteria, supporting phagocytic [immune function], and producing antihistamines to neutralize substances that promote the growth of cancer. When the liver is not functioning properly – and is over-blocked by toxins – the body’s immune theory is severely weakened leading to continuing illness. The lemon & extra virgin olive oil drink not only prevents continuing illness, but works to reverse it.
According to Mark Konlee from his paper How to Reverse Immune Dysfunction – “The immune theory has two ‘arms’ – the Th1 and Th2 systems. They tend to be connected: when the one is strong, the other is weak, and visa versa. The Lemon / Extra Virgin Olive Oil drink has been reported to balance the two arms of the immune system. This would help in both suppressed immune theory and autoimmune conditions (including Hiv / Aids and cancer).”
Restoring pH levels to general alkaline levels of 7.0 or greater, is of astronomical point for the cancer patient. Lemons are one of the most alkaline forming foods on the face of the planet, and when consumed on a regular daily basis (especially with the rind and seeds), cause pH levels in the body to rise and become very alkaline, to levels typically above 7.4 or greater, development it difficult for cancer cells to survive because of the whole of oxygen present. The majority of cancer patients have acidic pH levels of below 6.5, meaning that general cells are not able to respirate or “breathe” properly. This causes cells to mutate and become cancerous. This discovery was made by Nobel Prize winner Dr. Otto Warburg, who discovered that cancer cells only thrive in a low-oxygen state. In this way, the straightforward lemon can help to fight cancer.
The lemon & extra virgin olive oil drink also helps to lower and restore biliruben levels in those with liver cancer and liver disease. An elevated biliruben level is a key indicator of a damaged liver. Recently a sick person of mine with liver cancer, who had a consistently high biliruben level of 36 (disqualifying her from chemotherapy), took for the first time the lemon & extra virgin olive oil drink. She drank her first and only drink on Thursday. Her biliruben levels had been measured 3 days before and were at the usual 36. She was tested on Friday (one day after her first drink) and her biliruben level measured 28, then two days later it was measured, and it was at 22 (to a near general level)! This ordinarily skeptical woman was gobsmacked!
So the next time you find yourself walking past a lemon tree, reconsider how the straightforward lemon can and is starting to wage the war against two of the world’s most devastating diseases – cancer and Hiv / Aids.

I am the gateway; I am the door. I join together the inside to the outside. I decree which face comes in. I operate the flux and the flow. I hold the wise blood, or let it go. I protect the growing babe, or thrust it unformed into a world unsuitable. None leave, none enter, except by my grace, my decision. I am the duct of birth. I am the mark of the sun. I am as near as the reach of your finger, yet mysterious and hidden. Many women, most men, born straight through me, go their whole life without gazing upon me.
I offer blood to mum Earth. I spin stretchy strings of fertile mucus to Grandmother Moon. I am as sensitive as the best hound’s nose, as authoritative as the wisest crone. I am not, and have never been, innocent. I am all seeing, though darkness is my constant companion, and my eye but single. (How tantalizing that women in India believe I have two eyes.)
I know how to be firm and potent, how to stand strong against those who would storm my portal. I know how to be loose and soft, how to welcome those who bring future’s hope. I know how to efface myself and withdraw, production way, stretching myself to the utmost, chance wide in sweet surrender.
I pulse within you. I am your cervix, the mouth of your womb.
What Is The Cervix?
The cervix is the neck of the uterus. It projects into the upper part of the vagina and can be felt with the fingertips, especially in a squatting position. With the aid of a speculum, a mirror, and a flashlight, you can see your cervix, too.
During labor, the cervix dilates, allowing the baby to leave the womb, enter the vagina, and be born. The cervix also opens, just a little, to help push menstrual blood out of the uterus, and to allow sperm inside so reproduction can occur.
Medical plan holds that the cervix is “insensitive to pain,” a statement that I challenge.
The cervix is covered by a thin layer of cells, called the epithelium. And the epithelium has two kinds of cells: ones that grow in columns, and ones that are flat and scaly. The columnar ones make up the inner face of the cervix and are red, like our lips. The flat ones (squamous cells) make up the outer face and are pink, like some skins. The place where they meet is the squamo-columnar junction, or transition zone, one of the most tasteless sites of cervical cancer.
A healthy, fertile, cervix looks pink, with a pretty round, red mouth, the os. (Before puberty, the entire cervix is red as pink squamous cells have yet to cover it.)
A cervix that is infected, irritated, or growing abnormally normally looks lumpy, bumpy, very red, and weepy. (A vinegar wash is needed to make the white lesions of Hpv visible.)
A range of organisms, along with parasites, bacteria, and viruses, as well as wear and tear from childbirth and intercourse can influence the health of the cervix. The major categories of cervical distress are – going from least to worst – cervicitis, erosion, dysplasia, Hpv infections, and cancer.
Cervicitis: Inflammation of the Cervix
Acute cervicitis is inflammation – reddening, swelling, and sometimes bleeding – of the cervix. Cervicitis can effect a difficult birth, vacuum aspiration, or trauma. It can be triggered by use of hormones such as birth operate pills and menopausal hormone pills, or by irritation from the string of an Iud. But, usually, cervicitis is caused by a bacterial, viral, or fungal infection such as Trichomonas vaginalis, Candida albicans, or Haemophilus vaginalis. Cervicitis can be symptomless, or it can cause pain on intercourse, itching and burning of the genitals, and/or discharge. Definite medicine with drugs or herbs to eliminate the infective organisms is normally effective.
If blush and irritation continue in the absence of infection, daily application of aloe vera gel, honey, or vitamin E oil, directly on the cervix for 2-3 weeks is generally effective.
Chronic cervicitis occurs when inflammation and infection of the cervix continues unchecked for many years. The cervix thickens, cysts protrude, tears and scars from childbirth and gynecological procedures accumulate, and, depending on the infection, noxious-smelling discharges, sometimes with pelvic pain, may come and go. Orthodox medicine uses antibiotics and surgical operation to clear the inflamed tissue, rather like using a backhoe to clear the ground; feminist doctors consider this over-treatment. Alternative approaches, like a meticulous gardener, work to remove infections, reverse precancerous changes, and increase the health of the woman and her cervix with as itsybitsy disruption as possible. If the health worsens or fails to respond to medicine within 3-12 months, surgical remedies are indicated.
Cervical Eversion/Erosion
Not the same thing, but oftentimes confused, even by doctors. When columnar cells grow too quickly, they push aside the squamous cells, causing eversion and erosion. In an eversion, there is generally a clear dividing line in the middle of the cells. In an erosion, there is no Definite border.
Cervical eversions show a clear dividing line in the middle of the two types of cells, though the columnar cells are spilling out of the os, instead of confining themselves to the inside of the cervix. Cervical eversions revert to general when the hormones triggering them – such as birth operate pills – are removed. Some women have a “congenital” eversion which is present at birth, regresses until puberty, may be especially leading if she is pregnant, and regresses after menopause. Eversion generally requires no treatment; if confused with erosion, over-treatment is likely.
Surgical procedures – such as endometrial biopsy, D&C, aspiration extraction of the contents of the womb, radiation implantation, cone biopsy, cryosurgery, and laser ablation – as well as trauma from childbirth and intercourse, can, in the presence of inflammation and infection, lead to cervicitis or erosion.
Cervical erosion is a term that is often applied to any blush seen on the cervix, from an abrasion to a full-blown infection. “[It] conjures up a frightening photograph of the cervix wasting away like bare earth after a heavy rain, [and] is not only erroneous, but absurd.”(1) Conservative doctors may advise extraction of the “eroded” tissue. Alternative methods are quite successful in medical cervical erosion; complementary medicines can ease side-effects and hasten medical if drugs or surgical operation are chosen.
Cervical Dysplasia: Abnormal Cells in the Cervix
Dysplasias often regress with no treatment. Over-treatment in both orthodox and alternative circles is common.
Hpv Infection
This silent infection rarely causes symptoms and normally is dealt with by the immune system. A few of the sixty known varieties can cause cervical cancer. Poor women are more likely to be diagnosed with cervical cancer and more likely to die of it and more likely to be helped by mandated vaccination programs against it. Unfortunately, the vaccine is only useful before a woman has had any contact, sexual or otherwise, with Hpv.
Cervical Cancer
When abnormal cell increase triggered by Hpv is unchecked by the immune system, it can invade adjoining tissues and even spread straight through the blood to distant sites. Untreated, cervical cancer is lethal. Caught early, virtually all cases are cured.
Your healthy Cervix
Keeping your cervix healthy is a lot like holding your whole self healthy, but with a few extra considerations.
Imagine how difficult it would be to keep your face healthy if you never looked at it or touched it. Though it may seem odd, seeing at your cervix and touching it, at least once in your life, is important. And it’s easy.
You will need a mirror, a flashlight, a plastic speculum, some underground time and space (though I have done this in groups), and a reference book like A New View of a Woman’s Body. With some wiggling and jiggling, you can arrange yourself, the mirror and the flashlight so you can see your cervix. Amazing!
How do you get a speculum? You can ask to keep the one they use the next time you have a gynecological checkup. Can you buy one at the drug store?
As part of the uterus, the cervix is made healthier by those herbs that nourish and tonify the womb: raspberry leaf infusion, motherwort tincture.
As part of the vagina, the cervix is exposed to perilous bacteria, viruses, and fungi, normally from, though not itsybitsy to, sex. Additionally, the cervix suffers trauma when the vagina is traumatized. holding good gut flora keeps the gut healthy, and so holding good vaginal flora keeps the cervix and vagina healthy. That’s why I start my day with a cup of plain yogurt, and avoid bubble baths, douches, and feminine hygiene sprays, and am very, very fussy nothing else but about what I allow to enter my vagina.

Endocervical polyps
Endocervical polyps are the most common benign neoplasms of the cervix. Please note that the word neoplasm refers to a cancerous growth. They are focal hyperplastic (abnormal cell growth) protrusions of the endocervical folds, including the epithelium and substantia propria. They are most common in the fourth to sixth decades of life and ordinarily are asymptomatic but may cause profuse leukorrhea or postcoital spotting. (blood after orgasm)
Grossly, they appear as typical polypoid structures protruding from the cervical os. At times, endometrial polyps protrude straight through the cervical os. They cannot be fine from endocervical polyps by gross appearance. Microscopically, a range of histologic patterns are observed, including
(1) typical endocervical mucosal
(2) inflammatory (granulation tissue)
(3) fibrous
(4) vascular
(5) pseudodecidual
(6) mixed endocervical and endometrial
(7) pseudosarcomatous.
Treatment is removal, which can ordinarily be complete by twisting the polyp with a dressing pinchers if the pedicle is slender. Smaller polyps may be removed with punch biopsy forceps. Polyps with a thick stalk may want surgical removal.
Microglandular hyperplasia
Microglandular hyperplasia refers to a clinically polypoid increase measuring 1-2 cm. It occurs most often in women who are on oral contraceptive therapy or Depo-Provera and in pregnant or postpartum women. It reflects the work on of progesterone.
Microscopically, it consists of tightly packed glandular or tubular units, which vary in size, lined by a flattened-to-cuboidal epithelium with eosinophilic granular cytoplasm containing small quantities of mucin. Nuclei are uniform, and mitotic figures are rare. Squamous metaplasia and reserve cell hyperplasia are common. An atypical form of hyperplasia can be mistaken for clear cell carcinoma. Unlike clear cell carcinoma, it lacks stromal invasion, has scant mitotic activity, and lacks intracellular glycogen
Squamous papilloma
Squamous papilloma is a benign solid tumor typically settled on the ectocervix. It arises most ordinarily as a result of inflammation or trauma.
Grossly, the tumors are ordinarily small, measuring 2-5 mm in diameter. Microscopically, the exterior epithelium may show acanthosis, parakeratosis, and hyperkeratosis. The stroma has increased vascularity and a persisting inflammatory infiltrate. Rehabilitation is removal. The squamous papilloma resembles a typical condyloma acuminatum but lacks the koilocytes microscopically.
Smooth muscle tumors (leiomyomas)
These benign neoplasms may generate in the cervix and account for approximately 8% of all uterine plane muscle tumors. They are similar to tumors in the fundus. When settled in the cervix, they ordinarily are small, ie, 5-10 mm in diameter.
Symptoms depend on size and location. Microscopically, leiomyomas resemble the typical plane muscle tumor found in the uterine corpus. Rehabilitation is required only for those patients who are symptomatic. The cervical leiomyoma is ordinarily part of the spectrum of uterine plane muscle tumors.
Mesonephric duct remnants
When present, mesonephric duct remnants are typically settled at the 3-o’clock and the 9-o’clock positions, deep within the cervical stroma. They ordinarily are incidental findings and are present in approximately 15-20% of serially sectioned cervices. As the name implies, mesonephric duct remnants are vestiges of the mesonephric or Wolffian duct. Usually, they are only a few millimeters in diameter and seldom are grossly visible.
Microscopically, they consist of a proliferation of small round tubules lined by epithelium that is cuboidal to low columnar. The tubules tend to heap around a central duct. The cells lining the tubules contain no glycogen or mucin, but the town of the tubule may contain a pink material that contains glycogen or mucin.
Endometriosis
When present in the cervix, endometriosis is ordinarily an incidental finding. Grossly, it may appear as a bluish-red or bluish-black lesion, typically 1-3 mm in diameter. Microscopically, the implants are typical endometriosis, consisting of endometrial glands, endometrial stroma, and hemosiderin-laden macrophages. The implants ordinarily gain passage to the cervix during childbirth or former surgery.
Papillary adenofibroma
This neoplasm is uncommon. Grossly, it appears as a polypoid structure. Microscopically, the neoplasm contains branching clefts and papillary excrescences lined by mucinous epithelium with foci of squamous metaplasia. A compact, cellular, fibrous tissue composed of spindle-shaped and stellate fibroblasts supports the epithelium. The stroma is devoid of plane muscle, and mitoses are rare. Similar growths occur in the endometrium and the fallopian tubes.
Heterologous tissue
Heterologous tissue includes cartilage, glia, and skin with appendages. This type of tumor rarely occurs in the cervix. While they may arise de novo, these tumors probably describe implants of fetal tissue from a former aborted pregnancy.
Hemangiomas
Hemangiomas in the cervix are rare in occurrence and are similar to those found elsewhere in the body.
According to the American Cancer Society, the death rate for patients with prostate cancer is at an all-time low. This is great news for all men who have been diagnosed with this disease. But what has caused the death rate for prostate cancer patients to decline?
More than 200,000 new patients are diagnosed with prostate cancer worldwide each year. Prostate cancer affects roughly 190,000 new patients annually in the United States and colse to 30,000 patients die each year from prostate cancer.
Death Rate Decline Causes
The biggest presume for the decline in the death rate of prostate patients is the fact that more men are having each year exams performed by their physicians. This has enabled physicians to catch the disease in its earliest stages. The earlier the stage of cancer is detected, the great the rehabilitation options and the great opening for a cure.
The survival rate increases for those who have the earlier stages of this type of cancer when rehabilitation is received. If the cancer continues to progress, then the survival rate decreases. Because men are now receiving each year exams, more and more cases of cancer of the prostate are being detected in the earlier forms, which have now caused the death rate to decline.
Because of the many men who are now seeking the each year exam, more and more cases of this type of cancer has been diagnosed. The Psa blood test and the digital rectal exam have allowed physicians to diagnose patients who might have otherwise never been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The Psa blood test helps detect prostate problems even earlier than the digital rectal exam. However, some prostate cancer grows at such a slow pace that if left untreated, it may never affect the patient. So now, physicians are trying to settle how to great take these results and clarify the needed treatments.
Hormone treatments have been proven to slow down the progression or increase of prostate cancer, but until now, there has not been a link in the middle of hormone therapy and the fact that this advent saves lives. However, with the current death rate at an all-time recorded low (since 1950 for Caucasian men; since 1969 for African American men), studies now show that there is enough evidence that hormone therapy is an standard rehabilitation for the cancer of the prostate.
More than 5,000 studies have been performed on the effectiveness of hormone therapy with the results being inconclusive; however, when all of that data is analyzed from all 5,000 studies as a group, there is enough evidence that supports the idea that hormone therapy does work. New studies are now being performed to settle either hormone therapy in conjunction with other rehabilitation options will be even more effective.
